SUPPORT REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH IN CENTRAL TEXAS
When you donate to The Bridge Collective, you're helping us provide access to reproductive healthcare in Central Texas Important note: Bridge Collective has paused our abortion support services and is taking some time to evaluate its operations in light of the recent decision in Jackson Women’s Health v. Dobbs, which has changed almost 50 years of settled law related to reproductive and constitutional rights. While continuing to be focused on reproductive justice and access to important care for Texans, we are also undertaking substantial consideration and effort to ensure the organization and our volunteers are safe from punitive legal action in this new landscape for abortion rights.
Our small budget supports training costs for new volunteers, rideshares, supplies for reproductive health resource kits, and mileage reimbursement, and these minimal financial needs are met exclusively with grassroots donations. The Bridge collective is a 501©3 non-profit organization and your donation is tax deductible.
Donations help us purchase materials for our volunteer driver care kits, which contain pads, wipes, snacks, water, gum, and other supplies to make the trips comfortable for all of our clients. Note: Our transportation services are currently paused due to the Supreme Court decision in the Dobbs case.
Donations will fund gas reimbursement for a volunteer providing round-trip transportation for a client living in Killeen to a clinic in Austin. (Note: Our transportation services are paused following the SCOTUS decision of the Dobbs case.)
Donations will fund the costs of 10 health kits! Thanks to generous donors of EC, we are able to purchase all the supplies for each repro kit for about $3.
Donations will fund gas reimbursement for a volunteer providing round-trip transportation for a client to a clinic in San Antonio. (Note: Our transportation services are paused following the SCOTUS decision in the Dobbs case.)
